April has come and gone. She offered me two weeks away from school which I thoroughly enjoyed only to stress about homework in the last few days. I uncovered my love for photography and rekindled a friendship I feared would be over.

and everything else that has made me fall in love with April
Photography: My new hobby. I guess you could say I’ve always been interested in photography but after a course I did on the 23rd of April it’s been stuck on my mind. The thought of taking new photos makes me smile. As a result of this I’ve created a photography Instagram and a Facebook page.
High Flow Acrylics: I walked into a Riot Art & Craft store and walked out with six items and $86 less money in my pocket. Four of those items were high flow acrylics. I’ve used them once but they’re already my favourite kind of paints.
Road Trips: The first few days of the holidays my family and I went on several different road trips. I just love travelling to country towns to see what I can find. It fills my heart with pure joy, especially when they’re unplanned.
Art: Just art in general. I’ve created several pieces throughout April and I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 has in store.
Candles: I had four candles at the beginning of the month and now I have two which are almost used up. Lets just say I need to buy some more.
Nature: Our gorgeous earth is inspiring wherever I turn whether it be from the sky, the trees, the flowers, the weather, or the creatures roaming. I’ve just been feeling so inspired.
Rain: I honestly love the rain. I always feel inspired before it starts raining and I love the way the world is so quickly dampened after the rain stops.
Driving: So in January I turned sixteen and I then got my learners a few days after. I can now legally drive on the road and I’ve been loving every minute of it. The time passes so much quicker than in the passenger seat.
May, I can not wait to see what you bring to me whether it be old or new.
